Clinical EFT Tapping is the most researched energy psychology modality, being both evidence-based and in the top 10% of published research for psychotherapy modalities.

There are over 100 randomised control trials and 95 pre-post outcome studies for EFT, establishing effectiveness for phobias, pain, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, athletic performance and more.

Lauren is currently completing a Masters of Research at the University of Southern Queensland, exploring the feasibility and acceptability of Emotional Freedom Techniques as an approach to improve emotion regulation, resilience, and self-confidence in student-athletes through the Mind 2 Win student-athlete wellbeing Program. This program is designed to support student-athletes in preparation for the 2026 Olympic Games in Brisbane, Australia.

Lauren recently presented her previous research study at the International Energy Psychology Conference in Arizona, USA showcasing statistically significant outcomes in self-compassion, imposter syndrome, and stress reduction among postgraduate clinical psychology students.

She has partnered with fellow EFT Researchers and Educators to complete a replication study with resident doctors and health professionals in New York which will commence January 2026.
